In 1944 Harbin, under the puppet Manchukuo regime, Song Zhuo Wen, an underground party member posing as a railway police officer, is mistaken by spy chief Guan Xue as her lifesaver—but he’s actually her long-lost twin brother, Song Zhuo Wu. To uncover the mission of Japanese officer Asano Daigo, Zhuo Wen uses Guan Xue to infiltrate the spy department. However, Zhuo Wu’s impulsive actions complicate the operation. The brothers, despite their differences, must cooperate under their superiors' orders, gaining trust within the spy department while avoiding internal conflicts. Over the course of a year, they expose a secret Japanese-Soviet plot, uncover spies within their ranks, and contribute to the ultimate victory of the war.
